Mid-Management Leadership Program
Sending employees to Mid-Management Leadership Coaching can be viewed by team members as a bonus and a sign of significant recognition. This process is a key component of leadership talent management and can be used to develop key leadership talent skills or eliminate roadblocks. This leadership talent coaching program primarily focuses on enhancing employee performance and developing leadership skills that will improve performance in a current role or help prepare an employee for the next management level.
Leadership coaching can help clarify an employee’s vision, core values, and beliefs. Working with individuals to develop their leadership talent helps to stretch their capacities to lead and influence others. This leadership talent program may address issues such as: leadership communication, the building of strong teams, time management, performance management, building influence, and accountability.
Course Objectives
- The leadership talent training program begins with telephone or face-to-face meetings with corporate representative(s) to establish the desired outcome and reporting requirements.
- Determine and communicate the framework for the coaching relationship during an initial face-to-face coaching session with the client.
- Establish specific and measurable goals for leadership talent development.
- Create a Personal Development Plan.
- Participate in a minimum of twelve one-hour personal coaching sessions over a six month time period.
- Participants receive unlimited e-mail support.
- Leadership talent coaching results will be communicated in a final review report.
Optional Objectives Include:
- Job shadowing for interested participants.
- Participation in telephone interviews with a minimum of six colleagues/direct reports.
- Participants can opt to receive on-call coaching.
